Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: January 6th, 2016
1. General Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all deposits, payments, cancellations, and refund requests for limousine and private transportation services provided by E-Limo SF, a San Francisco–based private car service operating under valid California Transportation Charter-Party (TCP) authority.
By booking or renewing any service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below, which should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
2. Deposits & Payments
2.1. Deposits: A deposit or pre-payment may be required to secure a reservation or contract renewal. Deposits are applied toward the total balance and are non-refundable once service is confirmed.
2.2. Payment Due: Full payment must be made by the date stated in the booking confirmation or Service Agreement.
2.3. Accepted Methods: Payments can be made by credit/debit card, ACH, or approved invoicing platforms.
3. Cancellation Policy (Single-Use or Event Bookings)
3.1. Cancellations Made 72 Hours or More Before Service: Eligible for a 75% refund of the total fare (excluding non-refundable deposits or third-party fees).
3.2. Cancellations Made Within 72–24 Hours: Subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total fare.
3.3. Cancellations Within 24 Hours or No-Shows: Charged in full. No refund or credit will be issued.
3.4. Special Events & High-Demand Dates: (e.g., weddings, proms, conventions, or holiday travel) are non-refundable once booked, unless otherwise stated in writing.
4. Annual Contract Services
4.1. No Month-to-Month Service: All private transportation contracts are annual commitments and renew automatically each year unless canceled in accordance with Section 5 below.
4.2. Early Termination: If a client terminates an annual contract early, the full annual amount remains due and payable.
4.3. Rate Re-Negotiations: Any agreed-upon rate change automatically establishes a new 12-month contract from the effective date of the new rate. No partial or prorated refunds are issued for early termination.
5. Automatic Renewal & Refunds
5.1. Renewal Notice: E-Limo SF provides written or electronic notice between 7–30 days before renewal, per California Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §17600 et seq.).
5.2. Non-Renewal: Clients wishing to cancel renewal must provide written or emailed notice at least 30 days before the contract renewal date.
5.3. Payment on Renewal Date: If payment is made on or after the renewal date, the Client is deemed to have accepted continuation for another 12-month term, and no refund will be issued once payment is processed.
6. Service Interruptions & Rescheduling
6.1. Delays Beyond E-Limo SF’s Control: We are not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, road closures, or other conditions beyond our control. Refunds will not be issued for such occurrences.
6.2. Rescheduling: If a client needs to reschedule, E-Limo SF will make reasonable efforts to accommodate at no extra cost if notice is provided at least 48 hours prior to service.
7. Refund Processing
7.1. Approved refunds (when applicable) are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
7.2. E-Limo SF reserves the right to deduct transaction or administrative processing fees (typically up to 5%) from any refund issued.
8. Force Majeure
No refunds will be provided for cancellations or failures to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, strikes, road closures, pandemics, or governmental restrictions.

10. California Consumer Notice
In compliance with California’s Automatic Renewal Law and Business & Professions Code, you are entitled to:

Clear disclosure of renewal terms before acceptance;

A pre-renewal reminder sent 7–30 days before the renewal date;

Easy cancellation via email or online form;

A refund where applicable under these terms.
